As an employee of APG, we are pleased to offer Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance with Cigna. As a benefit of your employment, APG pays approximately 70% of your insurance premiums, while the remaining employee portion of the premium is deducted weekly as a pre-tax payroll deduction. To be eligible for this insurance, you must have completed 60 days of employment and be currently working a minimum of 30 hours each week. Enrollment applications are provided at orientation, but you may also access the application in the Employee Portal if you need to make mid-year plan changes due to a qualifying life changing event.

- Select Find a Doctor (top of page in orange)
- Choose Select A Plan for your search and choose Open Access Plus, OA plus, Choice Fund OA Plus.
- For Dental, choose Cigna Dental PPO, Radius Network.
- Select Person by Name, enter physician's name, city, and state.
- Press Search.
Insurance Premiums
Weekly insurance premiums include Medical, Dental, Vision, and prescription coverage. View our current insurance rates for 2022. Premiums are paid through an S-125 payroll deduction, which allows your deduction to be excluded from Federal Income and Social Security Tax, thereby reducing the financial impact of your payroll deduction.
Currently, our health insurance rates are higher for those who use tobacco products. But there is good news! Those who complete an approved smoking cessation program will qualify for non-smoking rates for the entire year, including those already paid in 2022! Inquire with HR for more information.
We also offer a weekly Wellness Discount for those pursuing health or fitness goals. Participants receive a $20 weekly discount off of their current health insurance premiums. Visit Wellness Discount for more information on how you can save $1,040 every year on your health insurance premiums.
