To be eligible for this insurance, you must have completed 60 days of employment and be currently working a minimum of 30 hours each week. Employee Assistance Program
We all experience times when we need a little help managing our personal lives. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to all employees, their dependents, and all household members, in connection with our group life and disability insurance from The Hartford. They can offer support, guidance, and resources to help you and your family find the right balance between work and home life. Experienced master's-degreed clinicians will confidently consult with you over the telephone and direct you to the solutions and resources you need. You may also receive referrals to support groups, community resources, a network counselor, or your health plan. The EAP Services can help with child care and elder care, alcohol and drug abuse, life improvement, difficulties in relationships, stress and anxiety with work or family, depression, emotional well-being, goal-setting, financial and legal concerns, grief and loss, identity theft and fraud resolution, online will preparation, adoption resources, travel, and pet care. For confidential one-on-one counseling services, call toll-free 800-964-3577. To access resources online, log on to www.guidanceresources.com. Enter "HLF902" as the login ID, and "APG E" as the Company Name. For more information view our EAP overview and online Enrollment Guide.

Smoking Cessation
Currently, our health insurance rates are higher for those who use tobacco products. But there is good news! Those who complete an approved smoking cessation program will qualify for non-smoking rates for the entire year, including those already paid in 2021! Please submit the details of the program to HR so we can determine eligibility. You must complete an approved program by September 30, 2021 to receive the retroactive rate. If you stop smoking without completion of a smoking cessation program, you will need to wait until Open Enrollment 2022 to receive the non-smoking rates.
