Each year, the APG Awards Party provides an opportunity to recognize the people who make our culture of excellence a priority every day. On June 6, employees and their spouses gathered at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater to celebrate service milestones, apprenticeship accomplishments, and safety achievements from the 2025 year — and to enjoy an evening dedicated to the teamwork and commitment that continue to define APG.
The evening began with a variety of food stations and refreshments, giving attendees time to connect with coworkers, catch up with friends, and reflect on recent successes. Guests enjoyed a wide selection of menu items, including sliders, wraps, stir fry, macaroni and cheese, boneless wings, desserts, and more. The relaxed atmosphere provided a fitting backdrop for one of our most anticipated annual events.
Following dinner, attendees made their way into the auditorium, where President Mike Henley, Executive Vice President Chris Johnson, and Vice President Jonathan Henley welcomed the crowd and kicked off the evening’s program. Service award recipients were recognized for their years of dedication to APG, while graduating apprentices were honored for reaching an important milestone in their professional development and career growth.
The excitement continued throughout the evening as Jonathan led the annual safety prize drawing. Dozens of prizes were awarded to employees, all leading up to the event’s grand prize drawing for $10,000. A complete list of winners can be found inside your July issue of the Pipeline.
Events like the Safety Awards Party require tremendous effort behind the scenes. Special thanks go to Bonnie Gerhart for leading the coordination of the event, along with Averi Samuels, Zach Snyder, Rachel Kotsch, Jessica Griffith, Charmin Henley, Corrie Fernandez, Kevin Gerhart, and the Warehouse Team for their support. Thank you as well to Ruth Eckerd Hall and Catering Sales Manager Megan Gurba for helping make the evening a success!
Congratulations to all award recipients, and thank you to every APG employee whose commitment to safety helped make this past year a safe and successful one!
