Our Technology Group continues to grow as a disciplined, solutions-driven operation that expands our capabilities in communications infrastructure and audio/visual systems. With approximately 50 employees supporting projects across the region, our team delivers reliable solutions in healthcare, municipal, corporate, education, and commercial environments. Through a strong focus on organization, communication, and quality workmanship, we have built a reputation as a trusted partner on complex, high-visibility projects where performance and coordination matter most.

Our team plays a dual role within APG—pursuing technology-focused opportunities directly with customers while also partnering closely with our Electrical Construction teams on larger projects. This approach not only brings new work into the company, but also strengthens our ability to deliver fully integrated solutions that support owners from early planning through final installation and commissioning.

Led by Voice/Data Manager Andy Schaefer, our V/D team continues to enhance processes, develop field talent, and expand technical capabilities. The team is currently supporting several major infrastructure projects, including the Tampa General Hospital New Patient Tower, the Moffitt Cancer Center for Discovery and Innovation, and the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Main Expansion. Each of these projects requires careful coordination within active healthcare environments where reliability and minimal disruption are critical. Additional work at the Clearwater City Hall and CAE Tampa Headquarters reflects our team’s ability to deliver complex municipal and corporate infrastructure solutions.

Under the leadership of Audio/Visual Manager Brian Fry, our A/V team delivers integrated systems that support daily operations while upholding our standards for professionalism and quality. Recent work includes the HCA Healthpeak GME Facility, along with major video wall installations for the St. Petersburg Traffic Management Center and the St. Petersburg Police Department Communications Center. Projects such as the Tampa Bay Water Boardroom upgrade and the Bernie McCabe 2nd District Court of Appeal further demonstrate our experience delivering professional systems in high-profile municipal and institutional environments.

As our Technology Group continues to build strong customer relationships and develop field leaders, we remain focused on supporting our long-term growth by delivering dependable technology solutions that strengthen both our client partnerships and our larger construction efforts.
