As the sun rose over the Hunter’s Green Country Club on April 15th, golfers arrived with excitement in the air to participate in the 9th Annual APG Customer Appreciation Golf Tournament. This year’s theme was the APG Open, which is based on The Open Championship – one of the oldest and longest-running golf tournaments in the world. We had an excellent turnout this year as 92 golfers participated, making up 23 teams.
To start off the day, golfers were offered a delicious breakfast buffet made up of eggs benedict, french toast, sausage, bagels, and more. Breakfast was accompanied by local bagpiper Gemma Briggs, who helped build on the Scottish atmosphere with some classic Celtic music.
After enjoying their morning buffet, participants headed to the driving range to hone their skills before the tournament began. Shortly after, the shotgun start officially initiated the tournament at 9:30am, and the APG Open was officially underway.
During the tournament, golfers could recharge with burgers, brats, and french fries served at the putting green, where they would then take on this year’s putting contest before returning to their next hole on the course.
After a day full of competition, laughter, and camaraderie, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch of prime rib, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, and a variety of delectable desserts. This is where we announced the day’s winners and presented our top three teams with a custom-made golf club clock.
We want to express our gratitude to the 53 companies represented, and to everyone who attended and helped with this year’s tournament. We appreciate your partnership in making our companies successful.
