Below are some APG practices that ensure our safety:
Dedicated Safety Team regularly audits job sites to ensure compliance and teaches safety practices.
OSHA 10 hour, 30 Hour and NFPA 70ETraining.
First Aid, CPR, and AED training provided annually.
Pre-Task Planning Worksheets help employees identify specific hazards associated with their work assignment and plan how to perform these tasks safely.
Weekly "Toolbox Talks" are conducted on all job sites, covering a different safety topic each week.
Defensive Driving classes for all employees and electronic monitoring of vehicles to ensure safe driving.
APG provides Personal Protective Equipment, including hard hats, durable work gloves, safety glasses, and high visibility clothing and other specialized safety gear to our team members.
The APG Safety Manual is our very own code book for safe practices. Developed over time by our employees with the input of insurance and construction safety experts, this manual outlines our expectations and provides specific instructions to our personnel for working safely.
Fall Protection, Equipment Operation, and other task-specific certification Training are regularly provided.
