AUDIO VISUAL systems Designer

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to Design/Engineer Audio Visual systems from on-site survey to finished single line design.
  • ​Lead by example and mentor APG Estimators.
  • Work with Estimators to meet SOW and create single lines and equipment list.
  • Work with Project Estimators to determine labor estimates and equipment pricing.
  • Understand architectural and engineering blueprints.
  • Desire to develop and meet APG quality standards.
  • Desire for career advancement.
  • Strong understanding of Audio Visual control systems and DSP systems.
  • Test control system and DSP for functionality.
  • Basic networking including setting IP addresses and Crestron IP IDs.
  • Understand Commissioning of audio visual systems.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years designing large Audio Visual jobs.
  • MUST be over the age of 18.
    • For this specific position, you must be 23 or older to drive a company vehicle.
  • MUST have a High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • MUST have valid Driver’s License and Personal Transportation.
  • MUST have a clean driving record.
  • MUST be a US Citizen or possess a valid work permit.
  • MUST have a FELONY-FREE record.
  • MUST be DRUG-FREE before and during employment.
  • MUST have a NEAT APPEARANCE.
  • Microsoft Suite including Visio experience.
  • CAD experience is preferred.

  • AVIXA CTS (CTS-D is preferred/CTS-D obtained within 6 months of employment)

  • SMAART v8
  • RTA
  • DANTE Level 2
  • Shure Microflex
  • Control Systems Programming Experience Preferred
