AUDIO VISUAL FIELD TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to take ownership of a project from fabrication to commissioning.
  • Knowledge of proper installation of audio visual equipment including projectors, screens, displays, speakers, microphones, touch panels, wall plates and VTC equipment.
  • Lead by example and mentor APG Field technicians.
  • Work with Project Manager to meet project deadlines and budget.
  • Work with Project Estimators to determine labor estimates.
  • Understand architectural and engineering blueprints.
  • Desire to develop and meet APG quality standards.
  • Desire for career advancement within AV division.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in AV/VTC technology.
  • CTS or CTS-I and manufacturer’s certification a plus.
  • Experience in configuration of AMX/Crestron control systems, DSP, and codecs.
  • Construction Experience is a Plus
  • Knowledge of Crestron, AMX and Extron Systems is a Plus
  • MUST be over the age of 23
  • MUST have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • MUST have valid Driver’s License and Personal Transportation
  • Clean driving record and ability to gain security clearance if needed.
  • MUST be a US Citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • MUST have a FELONY FREE record
  • MUST be DRUG FREE before and during employment
  • MUST have a NEAT APPEARANCE.
