The APG family came together for another unforgettable day of fun at our 41st Annual Family Picnic, held at Universal Studios Florida™ and Universal’s Islands of Adventure™! Employees and their families arrived throughout the morning, excited to spend the day exploring both parks with their Park-to-Park passes. APG shirts could be spotted in every direction as families raced to favorite attractions, enjoyed thrilling rides, and soaked up the perfect Florida sunshine.
At noon, everyone gathered on the upper promenade of Universal CityWalk for a delicious lunch buffet. The menu featured grilled hamburgers and chicken breasts, caesar salad, baked beans, and potato salad, with cookies and brownies for dessert. Beverages included beer, wine, and hard seltzer, while the kid-friendly buffet offered pasta, fruit salad, chicken tenders, and chocolate pudding topped with cookie crumbles.
As families enjoyed lunch, characters from Trolls and Madagascar stopped by for photos and high-fives, while kids lined up to get their faces painted. The DJ kept the energy high, playing upbeat tunes and engaging with guests throughout the afternoon. It was the perfect blend of great food, fun entertainment, and family connection.
After lunch, attendees headed back into the parks to make the most of the day — whether it was tackling the roller coasters at Islands of Adventure, enjoying movie-themed rides at Universal Studios, or simply relaxing and taking in the sights.
