CONTINUED EXCELLENCE: APG Wins Two IEC Awards

We are thrilled to announce that APG has been honored with two prestigious IEC National Awards for Excellence in Electrical Construction! These awards recognize our team’s expertise and commitment to delivering top-tier electrical installations, spanning both ends of the commercial construction spectrum—from a cutting-edge EV charging infrastructure to a massive hospital project.

In Category A, which covers electrical contracts up to $500,000, our Service group was recognized for their outstanding work on the Fitzgerald Hyundai EV Chargers installation. As the demand for electric vehicles grows, this project plays a vital role in expanding sustainable infrastructure. The team’s precision and efficiency ensured seamless integration of advanced charging technology, reinforcing our reputation for excellence in emerging markets.

In Category E for electrical contracts exceeding $7 million, our Construction group earned top honors for their work on the BayCare South Florida Baptist Replacement Hospital. This 514,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art healthcare facility was one of our most ambitious projects to date. With a contract value of nearly $37 million, our scope of work included the electrical construction, fire alarm system, nurse call system, security system, and BIM services. A key feature of this hospital was its Central Energy Plant, housing three 2,500kW diesel generators, ensuring uninterrupted power for critical healthcare operations.

Winning in both the smallest and largest commercial construction categories highlights the breadth of our capabilities. Whether tackling high-tech EV infrastructure or large-scale healthcare facilities, APG continues to deliver industry-leading solutions with precision and quality.
