On Saturday, June 7, APG employees and their spouses gathered at the beautiful Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater to celebrate the 2024 safety year and recognize the dedication, achievements, and milestones of our team. This event is one of our favorite annual traditions—bringing together the APG family for an evening of connection, gratitude, and celebration.

The evening kicked off at 5:00 PM, with food stations spread throughout the auditorium offering a variety of options. Guests enjoyed appetizers, chicken and pulled pork sliders, vegetable wraps, macaroni and cheese, boneless wings, stir fry, churros, and other sweet treats. Bars were open with a variety of drinks to enjoy. The open layout created a relaxed atmosphere where everyone could catch up, enjoy a great meal, and reflect on the past year.

At 6:30 PM, attendees made their way into the auditorium where Mike Henley and Chris Johnson opened the program. They recognized service award recipients and graduating apprentices before beginning the highly anticipated safety prize drawing. With dozens of prizes—including tools, gear, and electronics—the event culminated in the $10,000 grand prize. You can find the full list of winners inside this issue of the Pipeline.

We extend our thanks to everyone who helped make the night a success. Bonnie Gerhart led coordination efforts with help from Rachel Kotsch, Averi Samuels, Zach Snyder, Jessica Griffith, Charmin Henley, and Kevin Gerhart. Our Warehouse Team—Bruce Lyle, Mickey Mitchell, and Jeff King—helped with logistics and prize setup, and Zak Davis provided music. A special thank you goes to Megan Gurba, Director of Catering & Sales at Ruth Eckerd Hall, for working with our team to oversee every aspect of the event.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients—and thank you to every APG employee who made 2024 a safe and successful year.
