During the 2016 off-season facelift of Raymond James Stadium, APG Electric, Technology, and Life Safety were busy renovating dozens of private luxury suites, two Hall of Fame Club suites, and other behind-the-scenes improvements.
Nearly 31,000 square feet of high-definition video displays were installed to replace the aging end zone scoreboards, along with 400 surround sound speakers that draw 750,000 watts of power. Behind the scenes, new video control room and data processing facilities were added, along with a highly complex NFL Next Gen Stats sensor system.
