This 55,000 square foot project includes nine teaching labs, four advanced research spaces, fourteen faculty offices, two covered courtyards, a grand lobby that opens completely up to the outdoors, and a number of other study areas and meeting rooms.
Additionally, the HVAC system, controlled by APG Automation, uses advanced measures to utilize reclaimed water from a nearby water reclamation facility to provide cooling, saving thousands of gallons of water each day. Advanced lighting controls also contribute to the sustainability of this green building.
